If you would like to register with The Limes Medical Centre, please click on the link above or pick up a pack to register with the practice from our reception team. If you wish to register for online services (SystmOnline/NHS app), you will need to bring along with you Photo ID preferably your passport or driving licence. Please see our 'postcode checker' to ensure you are within our catchment area.
Once this has been completed you will be registered onto our computer system and shortly after you will be offered a new patient health assessment. Please bring a specimen of urine along with you for this appointment. You can only book a regular appointment (via the reception team) once your health assessment has taken place.
You will need your NHS number to register with us which you can find by using the following link: Find your NHS number here.
Choosing To See A Practitioner Of Your Choice
When you register with The Limes you register with the practice not an individual practitioner. However you do as a patient have the right to express a preference to see a GP of your choice.
We will endeavor to do our best to offer you an appointment with the GP of your choice but this may not always be possible. Please take into consideration the following points:
- Some of our doctors only work part-time and therefore may not be working at the surgery when you would like to be seen.
- The GP of your choice may be fully booked on the specific day you would like to be seen.
- The GP of your choice may be on annual leave.
Boating Community
We are a Boating Community Friendly Practice, if you have any queries or need assistance with your registration with the practice please liaise with our Front of House team.
Armed Forces Veteran-Friendly Accredited GP Practice
This means that as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician who has a specialist knowledge of veteran-specific health services. This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment.
